121 training is ideal for puppies and dogs that would like to learn without distractions or have not completed their vaccinations, or if you prefer something personal and tailored to you and your dog and prefer the convenience of training at a time that suits you.

Areas we cover – Blackrock, Booterstown, Cabinteely, Cherrywood, Churchtown, Donnybrook, Dundrum, Enniskerry, Firhouse, Foxrock, Kilternan, Knocklyon, Milltown, Monkstown, Mount Merrion, Rathgar, Rathmines, Sandyford, Stepaside, Stillorgan, Templeogue & Terenure. Other areas may be covered but will include a travel fee.

Terms & Conditions of Home Visit Training Consultation

Making your booking:

• All private training bookings are by appointment only, made through Positive Dog Training. All appointments must be prepaid through the link in the booking email you will receive when an appointment date and time are agreed. All payment must be received 48 hours in advance of any appointment.

The training session:

Following the session you will receive a training plan for you and your dog to work with going forwards. You will also have email support for 1 calendar month following the session.

The private training session will take place either at the your property or in a place agreed between our training team and you in advance of the session.

Each session is scheduled for an hour and half. Our trainer will be on time and we ask that you are ready to start at the allocated appointment time. Regardless, the session will finish 90 minutes after your trainer arrives.

Our training team reserves the right to stop the training session if they feel that your dog is a danger to them, or any other person or dog in the area.

Our training team are all professionally accredited and bound by the ethics that have served Positive Dog Training since it was set up in 2011. We use only humane, aversive free training methods and will not use or of advocate the use of tools that may cause not just physical damage to your pet dog, but also possible future behavioural issues. This includes but is not limited to e collars, prong collars, choke chains or corrector spray.

Its is your responsibility to inform Positive Dog Training, honestly, of any issues your dog is having so we can help you best. Each session is prepared for by our team in advance of when they are due to arrive to you. Being clear and concise about the issues that are causing you problems will help us prepare better and have a clear plan for the training needed.

You are responsible for informing your trainer of any health issues your dog has and if he/she are taking any medications that may interfere with their ability to take part successfully with the training session.
